Enchanted House still hand cast authentic traditional brass beds. Working with original designs they use Victorian gravity casting techniques and Victorian cast fixings to create handmade beds that will become heirlooms and antiques in the future. Each Enchanted House bed is handmade to your order, has a unique number, and is signed and checked by craftsmen before it leaves the factory.
Beds are handmade in four standard sizes:
Single 3ft (90cm)
Double 4'6" (135cm)
King Size 5ft (150cm)
Super King Size 6ft (180cm)
The overall height of the head and foot end of each bed can be adjusted, and the height of the side rails can be adjusted to allow for different bed bases. All models are also available as headboards, four posters and bed surrounds (to go around an existing divan bed). Beds can also be supplied without a foot end.
Bedsteads are supplied as standard with beech sprung slats, options include: firm and sprung platform bases.
